Johnnie-O is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to deliver an exceptional customer experience and build lasting relationships. This role creates a welcoming, on-brand environment where customers connect with the product and lifestyle.

You will engage with clients, provide styling suggestions, and contribute to store success through achieving sales goals and proactive outreach. We offer full-time hours, competitive compensation and benefits in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of retail or customer service experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with customers.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to service.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Comfortable with evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome every customer with a friendly, authentic approach reflecting the brand.
• Listen to understand needs, style preferences, and fit requirements.
• Provide knowledgeable feedback and personalized styling suggestions.
• Share product knowledge, new arrivals, and events.
• Maintain a client book and follow up to build relationships.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals.
• Contribute to store sales by engaging customers and cross-selling.
• Participate in outreach, appointment-based selling, and events.
• Ensure sales floor, fitting rooms are clean and stocked.
• Assist in restocking and seasonal floor changes.
• Support inventory and communicate stock needs to leadership.
• Process transactions accurately, including returns and exchanges.
• Follow cash handling procedures and POS accuracy.
• Assist with back-of-house duties and price changes as needed.
