Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Premier Technical Solutions Engineer to educate potential clients and ensure ongoing customer success. You will respond to inquiries via phone, chat, and tickets, build strong relationships, and guide customers through 1,000+ Datadog integrations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment on a hybrid schedule.

The role emphasizes mentorship, driving product/engineering conversations, and creating knowledge base content.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in multi-channel technical support at a PaaS, IaaS or SaaS company.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Premier customer requests (phone / chat / tickets) on our fast paced team while educating clients on the use of the Datadog platform.
• Develop relationships with Premier customers, understanding their environments and needs.
• Reproduce customer issues and assist with implementing 1,000+ Datadog integrations.
• Handle urgent escalation requests resulting in customer-facing troubleshooting calls or incident management.
• Build subject matter expertise across Datadog product areas.
• Autonomously troubleshoot high-priority issues with minimal guidance.
• Drive product and engineering conversations based on client needs and use cases.
• Mentor junior team members and act as escalation partner.
• Participate in health check meetings with Premier customers.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge base articles across technologies.
