Job summary

Datadog in New York is seeking a Technical Support Engineer 2, Premier who speaks Japanese to support Premier customers and educate them on the platform. You will work on a fast-paced team, build strong customer relationships, and dive into Datadog’s vast integrations to resolve issues.

You’ll contribute to documentation, participate in health checks with Premier customers, and collaborate across teams. This role offers hybrid work with on-site days in NYC and opportunities for growth within

Qualifications

• 2+ years in multi-channel technical support at a SaaS company.
• Some programming experience and basic Linux knowledge.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.
• A client-centric decision maker who escalates when needed.
• Experience in Premium/Enterprise technical support roles.
• Knowledge of current infrastructure and monitoring technologies.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule including weekends.
• Fluent in written and spoken Japanese.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client requests on phone, chat and tickets while educating on the platform.
• Build relationships with Premier customers and understand their environments.
• Reproduce issues and analyze Datadog’s 600+ integrations.
• Create documentation and knowledge articles for various technologies.
• Drive product conversations based on client needs.
• Participate in routine health check meetings with Premier Customers.
• Work from a Datadog office 3-5 days per week.
