Job summary

Meritage Homes is seeking an Outside Sales Counselor to generate new home sales on the Southwest Phoenix area. You will build Realtor and buyer relationships, manage showings, and guide customers from inquiry to closing with exceptional service.

Applicants should have 3+ years in outside sales, preferably in new home sales, and strong communication and organizational skills. A team-focused, high-energy environment awaits with opportunities to advance within a national builder.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or educational equivalent required; some college coursework or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of outside sales experience; preferably in new home sales with a proven track record.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales and customer service goals and other objectives set by the Sales Leader.
• Maintain and cultivate Realtor relationships to build long-term partnerships and recurring business.
• Connect unrepresented homebuyers to Realtors and guide them through the homebuying process.
• Ensure the look and feel of communities and model homes are pristine for guest experiences.
• Develop and continually refine personal sales presentations to maximize conversions.
• Use consultative selling to educate customers about homebuying and add value.
• Proactively manage prospects in Salesforce to optimize discovery and follow-up strategies.
• Demonstrate models, home sites, and floor plans; coordinate showings via technology as needed.
• Provide comprehensive community, site, floor plan, and pricing information; guide buyers through payment terms, taxes, and HOA details.
• Facilitate appointments with design studio, operations, mortgage, and title teams as necessary.
• Coordinate with lenders and track loan status to expedite closing processes.
