Legends in Ohio is seeking a Catering Supervisor to oversee set-up and clean-up for banquet functions and ensure guests receive the best possible service. Reporting to the Catering Manager, you will supervise the events team, manage inventory, coordinate beverage and equipment movement, and ensure health and safety standards are met.

This role requires strong organization, the ability to work under pressure, and excellent guest relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred with some college experience.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to make quick, accurate decisions under pressure.
• Must interact well with co-workers to ensure service standards.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, and etiquette.
• Ability to read, speak and write English for guest communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory of equipment, small wares, disposables, and beverages.
• Supervise housemen and stewarding team during set-up and break-down of events.
• Coordinate movement of beverages and equipment for all events.
• Supervise service and room set-up/clean-up for Food and Beverage.
• Assist with planning, organizing, and execution of all functions.
• Greet clients and respond to requests; lead roll call meetings for event specifics.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and report incidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Catering Management.
