Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment or have a Technical Certificate of Credit in Early Childhood Education in lieu of passing GACE; an Associate's Degree or higher from a GaPSC-accredited institution is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pre-K teacher with classroom organization and instructional materials.
• Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Maintain daily routines, attendance, and classroom supplies per guidelines.
• Participate in lunchroom, recess, hall-monitoring, and bus duties as assigned.
• Prepare and maintain learning centers for instruction.
