Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass the GACE para assessment; in lieu of the GACE Assessment and have 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours with a grade of C or better; an Associate's Degree or higher is acceptable.
• Must be able to obtain Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certificate.
• 0–1 year experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the teacher in preparing educational materials.
• Works individually with students or small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Assists with daily routines: distributing/collecting supplies, attendance, grading quizzes as assigned.
• Participates in lunchroom, recess, hall-monitoring, and bus duties.
• Maintains bulletin boards and learning centers for instruction.
• Participates in required Dual Immersion training if applicable.
• Performs other duties as assigned by administrators.
