Job summary

Fulton County Schools seeks a paraprofessional to support Pre-Kindergarten instruction and classroom operations. You will assist the teacher with materials, manage small groups, and help maintain routines and learning centers.

The role involves collaboration with teachers, supervision during lunch/recess/bus duties, and adherence to Georgia’s educational guidelines. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• GACE Paraprofessional Assessment or Tech Certificate of Credit in Early Childhood Education may substitute.
• Associate's Degree or higher from GaPSC-accepted institution acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assists with classroom organization, management, and presentation/development of instruction.
• Works closely with the Pre-K teacher and students.
• Assists in preparation of educational materials for students.
• Works individually or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Distributes and collects supplies, keeps attendance records, and follows daily routines.
• Participates in lunchroom, recess, hall-monitoring, and bus duties.
• Maintains learning centers for instruction and performs other duties as assigned.
