Job summary

Sidwell Friends School is seeking a seasonal part-time Admissions Group Visit Leader to support the Enrollment Management Department for Pre-K and Kindergarten visits on the DC campus and Bethesda campus. The role runs October through mid-to-late January with visits typically scheduled during weekdays and one Saturday morning slot.

Leaders prepare spaces, greet families, and manage components of the visit, including observations and the 1:1 assessment, contributing to the evaluation form

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare or early childhood education.
• Experience working with groups of children in a classroom or program setting.
• Comfort coordinating activities for young children and communicating with parents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare space and materials for each 90-minute group visit.
• Welcome children and reassure parents during drop-off.
• Guide components of the visit (free play, story time, circle time, 1:1 assessment) and contribute to the visit evaluation form.
• Assist with scheduling visits and participate in committee meetings as needed.
