Job summary

Fulton County Schools seeks a dedicated PreK Paraprofessional to support classroom instruction and student engagement under the supervision of instructional staff. You will assist with materials, centers, and daily routines to reinforce learning objectives.

Responsibilities include small-group instruction, supervision in lunch/recess, and collaboration with teachers to create a positive learning environment for young students.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must pass the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment or have a Technical Certificate of Credit in Early Childhood Education in lieu of passing GACE.
• An Associate's Degree or higher from a GaPSC-accepted institution is acceptable.
• Candidates should have strong communication and classroom-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pre-K teacher with classroom organization and instruction.
• Prepare educational materials for students.
• Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Assist with daily routines including distributing/collecting supplies and attendance.
• Participate in lunchroom, recess, hall-monitoring, and bus duties.
• Help prepare and maintain learning centers for instruction.
