Job summary

Fulton County Schools is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional (Part-Time) to support teachers and students in classrooms or the media center. You will help with materials, small-group instruction, and daily routines, while also assisting with library tasks and technology resources.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with GACE para assessment or equivalent college hours, and a Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certificate.

Qualifications

• Must pass the GACE para assessment or have 60 sem hrs/90 qtr hrs with C or better; an Associate's Degree or higher accepted.
• Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certificate required.
• 0-1 year experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in preparation of educational materials for students.
• Work individually with students or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Assist with daily routines: distribute/collect supplies, attendance, grading quizzes.
• Monitor lunchroom, recess, hall-monitoring, and bus duties.
• Assist with library/media center tasks and maintaining displays.
• Inventory media center materials and processing of new materials.
• Generate and maintain reports on overdue or lost materials.
