Baxter is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment across manufacturing operations in the United States. The role involves troubleshooting, repairs, calibration, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure equipment reliability, quality, and uptime.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of maintenance experience, OSHA certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or electronic equipment.
• OSHA certification required or obtainable.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, changing filters, and replacing worn parts.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and repair to keep production running.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify issues and take corrective action.
• Maintain maintenance, repair, and equipment performance records.
• Install new equipment and verify proper operation before use.
• Calibrate equipment to ensure accurate operation.
• Ensure safety and quality standards in all maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime.
• Support continuous improvement for efficiency and reliability.
• Train production staff on proper operation and basic maintenance.
• Manage spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Follow safety, GMP, FDA, ISO, and company policies.
• Report safety concerns promptly.
• Respond to urgent breakdowns as needed.
• Maintain 6S and housekeeping standards.
