Job summary

Skanska is seeking a dynamic Preconstruction Technology Engineer to join our team in the United States. This role focuses on improving construction planning data, visualization, and client-facing deliverables while integrating AI-driven solutions to enhance estimating efficiency.

Responsibilities include hands-on collaboration with estimating teams, developing digital workflows, dashboards, and improved presentation materials, and evaluating emerging technologies to advance preconstruction

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
• Geometry - proficiency in measures of length, area and volume calculations.
• Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent/applicable degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Improve how construction planning information is developed, analyzed, visualized, and communicated.
• Work hands-on with estimating teams in preparing project estimates.
• Identify workflow improvement opportunities and develop digital workflow solutions.
• Create interactive, client-facing project dashboards and improve estimate presentation materials and methods.
• Evaluate emerging technologies that enhance preconstruction services.
