Harkins Builders, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager 1 in Washington, DC to lead preconstruction and coordinate start-to-close activities with owners and site teams.

The role emphasizes contract scope understanding, supervision of personnel, and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will bring a four-year construction degree (or equivalent experience), seven years of progressive construction experience, and strong planning, budgeting, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in a construction-related curriculum or equivalent experience.
• Minimum seven years of progressive experience in ground-up construction.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and train teams and deliver multiple projects.
• Strong skills in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
• Familiarity with AIA contract documents and subcontract management.
• OSHA 30 certification; CCM, PMP, PSP, DRMP, CEP, LEED status encouraged.

Responsibilities
