Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Preconstruction Manager in our NA Design & Construction team. You will act as the owner's representative, leading planning, design, and preconstruction for complex industrial projects across the region, including site selection, budgeting, permitting, and contract execution.

You will collaborate with Design Engineering, Amazon Robotics, and external consultants, guiding scope, schedule, and cost to a successful handoff to Construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience from design through operation.
• Experience with packaging, processing, or logistical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise safety programs across all project teams during planning and preconstruction.
• Independently manage cross-functional industrial preconstruction projects from site selection to contract execution.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and cashflow forecasting.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to secure resources and drive delivery.
• Prepare project status and risk reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.
