Job summary

Sure Steel, Inc. is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager I in Ogden, UT to lead planning and preparation of construction projects, working with clients, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth progression from conception to the start of construction.

You will develop project plans, budgets, and schedules; conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimates; and collaborate on bids while maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project management teams to review project specifications, scope, and requirements.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client consultations to gather information and assess project needs.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
