• Team Leadership and Development: Provide leadership and mentorship to pre-construction teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning and Project Development:
• Lead the strategic planning process for pre-construction activities, collaborating with senior management to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with client expectations, company goals, and industry best practices.
• Identify and assess project risks, challenges, and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans as needed.
• Estimating and Cost Analysis:
• Oversee the estimating process, including quantity take-offs, material pricing, labor costs, and subcontractor quotes, to prepare accurate cost estimates for steel fabrication and erection services.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis and value engineering assessments to optimize project budgets, minimize costs, and enhance project profitability.
• Review and approve bid proposals, ensuring compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and company standards.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the pre-construction phase.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance, insights, and recommendations to support informed decision‑making and project success.
• Anticipate client needs and proactively address concerns or issues to ensure a positive client experience and foster long‑term partnerships.
• Team Leadership and Development:
• Provide leadership and mentorship to pre‑construction teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Recruit, train, and develop top talent, ensuring that team members have the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to succeed in their roles.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback and coaching, and recognize achievements to promote employee engagement and retention.
• Technical Expertise and Documentation:
