Job summary

Reeves Young, a leading construction firm, is seeking a Preconstruction Engineer to help win bids and drive profitability on complex projects in the Southeast.

You will read drawings, perform quantity takeoffs, coordinate with clients and design teams, and develop project information documents. You will train junior staff and contribute to preconstruction processes using tools like Procore, Revit, Bluebeam, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Experience in preconstruction project management and estimating.
• Ability to coordinate with clients and design teams.
• Familiarity with drawings, specifications and takeoff processes.
• Willingness to learn preconstruction software.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to our Preconstruction team by winning bids and increasing profitability.
• Cultivate strong relationships with staff, clients, subcontractors, and partners.
• Participate in quantity takeoff and produce project information documents.
• Read and interpret drawings and specs for project understanding.
• Identify labor, material, and time requirements to assign scopes.
