Job summary

Reeves Young is seeking a Preconstruction Engineer to contribute to the robust Preconstruction team by winning bids and increasing profitability. You will read drawings, perform takeoffs, and coordinate with designers and clients to prepare project information and scopes.

You will train and develop junior staff, provide estimates and constructability reviews, and use tools such as Outlook, Excel, Bluebeam, Revit, Procore, and other software to support project success.

Qualifications

• Experience producing project estimates and preconstruction documentation.
• Ability to coordinate with client and design teams.
• Knowledge of preconstruction software and takeoff processes.

Responsibilities

• Participates in quantity takeoff process and prepares project information.
• Reads and interprets drawings and specifications for projects.
• Identifies labor, material and time needs from plans.
• Supports senior preconstruction manager and engineers.
