Layton Construction is seeking a seasoned Pre-construction Manager to lead the SBU's pre-construction activities and drive successful project outcomes. You will oversee estimating, planning, budgeting, and procurement, while ensuring integrity, safety, and high-quality work.

The role requires a BS in Construction Management and 10+ years in healthcare construction, with strong leadership and client communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of healthcare construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction activities for the SBU, ensuring predictable outcomes.
• Promote integrity, safety, and quality in all work.
• Provide leadership for estimating and planning support personnel.
• Monitor budgeting, buy-outs, and cost history for pricing accuracy.
• Coordinate with marketing on information and brand considerations.
• Oversee sales activities, procurement strategies, proposals, RFQs, SOQs and RFPs.
• Develop goals, procedures, systems and tools for SBU sales/marketing tasks.
