Layton Construction in Irvine seeks a Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating and planning support, ensuring budgeting accuracy and effective cost modeling. The role oversees procurement strategies, client relationships, and development of new services while driving project wins and profitability.

You will supervise Estimating and Business Development teams, collaborate with executives, and maintain a strong focus on safety, integrity and quality. This role reports to the SBU leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Marketing and/or Communication or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years construction-related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business materials, procedures and regulations.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information clearly to groups of managers, clients and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficient PC skills including email, databases, word processing and spreadsheets.
• Experience with CMiC preferred; estimating software knowledge preferred.
