Job summary

MGAC is seeking a Preconstruction Manager in Columbus, OH, to lead complex data center and hospital projects. The role entails owning project scope, schedules, and budgets while coordinating with owners, A&E professionals, and contractors. Remote support with travel may be required based on client needs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in preconstruction, plus experience in ground-up MEP systems and strong communication skills to guide teams and deliverClients’ visions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in preconstruction project management.
• 2+ years managing critical environment construction projects (data centers, labs, hospitals).
• MEP experience in ground-up construction.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage full project scope and components.
• Mentor teams, manage schedule, scope, and budget.
• Lead pre-construction estimating, constructability analysis, and delivery strategy.
• Maintain client vision as a trusted partner.
