Job summary

MGAC in Columbus, OH is seeking a Data Center Construction- Mid to Senior Project Manager (Pre-Construction). You will oversee complex pre-construction work for data center projects, coordinating design, estimating, and client expectations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5+ years in preconstruction project management, 2+ years in critical environments, and strong MEP knowledge. Travel and remote support are part of the job, with a collaborative, growth-oriented culture at MGAC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in preconstruction project management with understanding of building design and construction processes.
• Bachelor's, Associate, or equivalent in a construction-related discipline.
• 2+ years managing critical environment construction projects (data centers, labs, hospitals).
• MEP experience in ground-up construction.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage the full scope of projects while simultaneously managing components of others.
• Mentor and lead teams while managing schedule, scope, and budget.
• Lead pre-construction estimating, constructability analysis and delivery strategy.
• Achieve and maintain the client's vision as a trusted partner.
