Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Preconstruction Manager in Southeast Michigan to lead estimating and preconstruction from concept through GMP, partnering with operations and business development to ensure accurate pricing and a smooth project handoff.

You will develop conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates, manage subcontractor outreach and scope reviews, participate in value engineering, and support client presentations and preconstruction meetings for local projects with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in preconstruction and/or estimating.
• Experience with general contractors or construction managers.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, healthcare, or institutional projects.
• Strong grasp of conceptual estimating and GMP development.
• Proven leadership and ability to communicate with internal teams and trade partners.
