The role requires enrollment in an Engineering or Construction Management undergrad (Civil Engineering preferred), CAD experience (AutoCAD), and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering or Construction Management undergraduate program, Civil Engineering preferred.
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Excellent communication and time management skills; ability to multi-task and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Regional Estimators with evaluating project site conditions and generating tank site layout drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare earthwork takeoffs using Civil 3D and sitework cost estimates using Excel.
• Solicit bid level pricing for cranes, rebar installation, fence work, and various subcontractor scopes.
• Prepare Requests for Quotation after subcontractors are identified.
• Gain insight into developing and bidding construction projects.
• Visit local tank construction sites.
