Job summary

DN is seeking a Construction Management Intern to work with our Construction and Operations teams in Colorado. You will gain hands-on experience in civil engineering and heavy‑civil construction, contributing to real projects under a dedicated industry mentor.

This internship offers exposure to pre-bid pricing, AutoCAD site layouts, coordination with subcontractors, site visits, and a path to professional growth while supporting communities across the US.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering or Construction Management undergraduate program.
• CAD experience (AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Willingness to travel to Littleton, CO and project sites in Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Identify local concrete suppliers and prepare pre-bid/post-bid pricing for concrete/shotcrete mixes.
• Develop batch designs with suppliers; assist Project Engineers with submittals.
• Develop AutoCAD site layout drawings showing cut/fill slopes, ramps, work roads, crane positions, and casting bed locations.
• Coordinate with sitework, rebar, crane, and concrete subcontractors.
• Perform jobsite pre-pour inspections with Project Engineers and Project Managers prior to concrete placements.
• Visit local construction sites during precast panel erection.
