Job summary

Kömmerling USA, part of the profine Group, is growing its Window & Door business in North America and seeks a detail-oriented Estimator to join our Huntsville, Alabama team. You will prepare accurate quotations for custom window and door projects, review specs, and configure product options in collaboration with Sales and Engineering.

The role emphasizes precise configurations, documentation, and timely delivery of quotations.

Qualifications

• Experience in window and door estimating or a similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specs and customer requirements.
• Knowledge of profile systems, glass, hardware and accessories.
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Office for costed quotations.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quotations for window and door projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, dimensions, and project data.
• Configure products using profiles, glass, hardware, and options.
• Ensure quotation details, quantities, configurations, and pricing are correct.
• Collaborate with Sales to clarify requirements and meet timelines.
• Identify missing or conflicting information and obtain clarification.
• Maintain organized quotation and project documentation.
• Support process improvements in estimating and data accuracy.
• Develop knowledge of Kömmerling's window and door systems.
