Job summary

RAM Windows & Doors is seeking an Estimator for the Curated Product Line to prepare detailed estimates for residential window and door projects across Texas. You will review plans, perform takeoffs, and develop bids in collaboration with the Curated Line Product Manager and other departments.

The role requires experience in residential construction takeoffs, strong math and analytical skills, and proficiency with estimating software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret residential construction plans, blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience performing construction or material takeoffs.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates, projects, priorities, and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review residential construction plans, drawings, specs to determine window and door requirements.
• Develop detailed takeoffs based on plans from builders and customers.
• Prepare accurate and timely project estimates, bids, and proposals.
• Perform electronic takeoffs and estimating using company-approved software.
• Identify window/door sizes, quantities, configurations, specs.
• Update estimates as plans or specs change.
• Coordinate with internal departments to obtain information.
• Review completed estimates for accuracy before submission.
