Apogee Enterprises, Inc. seeks an Estimator I to learn fenestration products, terminology and quoting tools. You will prepare cost estimates from customer takeoffs and assist with standard quotes under the guidance of senior estimators. Training covers aluminum systems and basic anchoring requirements for installs.

You will contribute to data entry, quote formatting, and maintaining pricing data while developing pricing program proficiency. Office-based with some site exposure.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or related experience preferred.
• 1-5 years of estimating or closely related manufacturing or construction experience.
• Strong communication and numerical analysis skills.

Responsabilités

• Supports the Estimating Team with data entry, quote formatting and quote document preparation.
• Evaluate RFQs and identify incomplete information or risks; escalate when needed.
• Self-schedule workload based on due dates and capacity where applicable.
• Create formal quotes for standard projects with moderate supervision.
• Learn pricing methods, read project specs, and obtain supplier quotes.
