Himmel’s Architectural Door and Hardware is seeking an Estimator for our Prairieville location. You will perform take-offs, review specs, and identify door and hardware products to meet project needs while maintaining competitive pricing.

The role requires 3+ years in construction estimating, proficiency with Excel/Bluebeam, and experience with estimating software (Comsense or Pro-tech). This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience reading plans & specifications.
• 3+ years in construction estimating (required).
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Perform take-offs, identify drawings and details, review specifications.
• Identify door and hardware products to meet project requirements and competitive needs.
• Input door, frame, and hardware data into estimating software (Comsense/Pro-tech) and prepare proposals.
• Follow up on bids to ensure customer satisfaction with scope and price.
