Job summary

Apogee Enterprises, Inc. in Monett, MO is seeking an Estimator I to learn fenestration products and quoting tools, preparing regular production cost estimates from customer takeoffs and developing skills under a senior mentor.

You will evaluate RFQs, create formal quotes, maintain price data, and gain understanding of aluminum extrusions, hardware, glass types, and standard system configurations while contributing to pricing accuracy for multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or related experience preferred.
• 1–5 years of estimating or closely related manufacturing or construction experience.
• Strong communication and math/numeracy skills.
• Ability to read project specs and pricing processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Estimating Team with data entry, quote formatting and quote documents.
• Evaluate RFQ requests and identify incomplete information or risks.
• Create formal quotes for standard configurations with moderate supervision.
• Learn to use pricing tools and read project specifications.
