Job summary

Blood Hound, the USIC division, is seeking Advanced Locate Technicians to identify and mark underground utilities using electromagnetic locating equipment and GPR. You will work at client sites, travel as needed, and maintain safety and accuracy in every locate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a public or private utility locator with proven accuracy and professionalism.
• Experience locating multiple utility types in a variety of environments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Adept with technology, including Windows-based computers and Microsoft Office programs.
• Willing and able to learn new procedures and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites and use company-provided, specialized equipment to accurately identify, locate, and mark all underground utilities and structures within scope.
• Troubleshoot using industry knowledge to ensure safety and accuracy in every locate.
• Help grow Blood Hound's reputation by delivering reliable, professional results.
• Communicate professionally with job site contacts to ensure a smooth, safe locating process.
• Maintain clear, courteous communication with customers and co-workers in the field.
