Job summary

Blood Hound, USIC’s specialized division, seeks Advanced Locate Technicians to identify and mark underground utilities with precision. You’ll travel to job sites daily, use advanced locating equipment, and deliver safe, high-quality results while upholding our safety standards.

We offer competitive pay of $25–$29/hour, monthly bonuses, a company vehicle with fuel card, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with match, and paid time off. Overtime and overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a public or private utility locator.
• Experience with an engineering or SUE firm is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to operate Windows-based computers and MS Office and learn new procedures.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites and accurately locate and mark underground utilities and structures.
• Troubleshoot using industry knowledge and attention to detail to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Help grow Blood Hound’s reputation by delivering reliable results.
• Communicate professionally with job site contacts for safe, complete locating.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and co-workers in the field.
