Job summary

Blood Hound, a USIC division, is seeking an Advanced Locate Technician to identify, locate, and mark underground utilities with precision using advanced locating tools. You will travel to multiple job sites, handle diverse utility types, and ensure safety and accuracy on every locate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a utility locator in public or private settings.
• Experience with an engineering or SUE firm is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites and identify, locate, and mark all underground utilities and structures within scope.
• Troubleshoot using industry knowledge, observation, and problem-solving to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Communicate professionally with job site contacts to ensure a smooth locating process.
• Maintain clear, courteous communication with customers and co-workers in the field.
