Job summary

Blood Hound is seeking Advanced Locate Technicians to identify and mark underground utilities with precision. You will travel to job sites nationwide and use advanced locating equipment to locate and mark utilities, including difficult-to-find structures, while prioritizing safety and accuracy.

The role emphasizes strong communication with site contacts, customers, and team members, with growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a utility locator with proven accuracy and professionalism.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Adept with technology including Windows-based computers and Microsoft Office.
• Willing and able to learn new procedures and technologies.
• Experience with an engineering or SUE firm is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites and locate/mark underground utilities and structures with company equipment.
• Troubleshoot using industry knowledge to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Communicate professionally with job site contacts to ensure a smooth locating process.
• Maintain clear, courteous communication with customers and co-workers in the field.
