Qualifications

• 1–2 years of utility locating experience with maps/blueprints.
• Proficient with electronic locating equipment and GPS.
• Strong reading of maps, blueprints, and drawings.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys to identify and mark underground utilities.
• Interpret maps and blueprints to locate utilities precisely.
• Communicate with construction teams to share location details.
• Maintain records of markings and surveys for regulatory compliance.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents during excavation.
• Stay updated on standards, tech, and regulations.
• Provide training to junior technicians as needed.
