Job summary

Congruex is seeking a Utility Locator to identify and mark underground utilities, enabling safe excavation and construction operations. You will use locating equipment, maps, and records to prevent utility damage and support project efficiency.

This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and a commitment to safety. Travel and field conditions may apply as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license required.
• OSHA 10 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and locate underground utilities using locating equipment, maps, and records.
• Accurately mark utility locations to support safe excavation and directional drilling.
• Operate, inspect, and maintain company vehicles and field equipment.
• Conduct locating in standard and high‑risk environments following safety requirements.
• Provide timely utility information to crews to prevent strikes and damage.
• Communicate locations and risks with crews, leadership, and partners.
