Job summary

Valmont Industries is hiring an End Prep Operator in Valley, NE. The role prepares tubes by deburring, inspects quality, and coordinates with inspectors and bundlers to ensure proper tube flow and length per customer specs.

Responsibilities include operating grinders, rotary files, groovers, straighteners, and measuring with tape. Candidate should follow safety protocols, lift materials, and work with team in a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write for documentation.
• Proficient with tape measures and fractions.
• Experience with hand tools and grinders.
• Strong safety adherence and attention to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deburr I.D. and O.D. of steel tubes using rotary file and grinder.
• Visually inspect tubes for defects and straightness.
• Operate groover, straightener, and oiler machines.
• Measure tubes and ensure correct length per spec.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety rules.
• Coordinate with inspectors and bundles to manage flow.
• Assist with tube setups and occasional crane operation.
