Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. in Columbus, Nebraska is seeking a CNC Operator in the Global Utility Division to operate CNC burn tables, drill presses and related equipment in a safe, efficient manner.

You will inspect parts, maintain machines, and help keep a clean, productive work area while following safety regulations and reporting to the Shift Supervisor. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to read measurements accurately in a high-volume fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read tape measures, gauges and micrometers.
• Must work well in a team and follow safety rules.
• Ability to perform basic math and follow written/verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC burn table, drill press and other cutting or burning equipment.
• Inspect all parts for quality and provide feedback to team.
• Maintain clean and greased machines and perform TPM.
• Assist team members with other tasks and report to Shift Supervisor.
• Operate overhead crane, plate blaster, cutting torch and forklift as needed.
