You will build, repair, and maintain dies, molds, fixtures, and production tooling, reading engineering drawings and operating mills, lathes, grinders, and CNC Tool Room equipment. Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED
• Tool & Die or Toolmaker Apprenticeship required
• 4 years Toolmaker experience or 8 years progressive Toolmaker experience in manufacturing
• Experience reading engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD prints, and technical docs
• Experience operating manual machine tools and CNC Tool Room equipment

Mansioni

• Build, repair, modify, and maintain precision tooling for high-volume manufacturing
• Interpret drawings to determine machining methods and material requirements
• Plan precision machining, bench work, fitting, and finishing of tooling components
• Set up and operate mills, lathes, drills, grinders, and CNC Tool Room equipment
• Inspect tooling and machined components for conformance to drawings and specs
• Diagnose tooling failures and perform repairs to minimise downtime
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized Tool Room environment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and tooling reliability
