Job summary

Dentsply Sirona is seeking a Tool and Die Maintenance Mechanic to support production and continuous improvement projects. You will maintain dies, fixtures, and precision tooling, while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and regulatory conformance.

Responsibilities include setting up shop equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting engineering with tooling modifications. Strong reading of drawings, GD&T, and GMP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED OR equivalent work experience.
• Journeyman Tool and Die/ maintenance mechanic apprenticeship preferred.
• 1–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience performing Die Maintenance Practices including inspecting, repairing, and maintaining precision tooling such as progressive stamping dies and forming dies.
• Knowledge of GMP and ability to hold tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dies, fixtures, and precision tooling to meet quality standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Support engineering with tooling modifications or new fixture design.
• Set up general manual machine shop equipment and maintain accurate records.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and communicate with team members.
