Linked Professional Services seeks an experienced Welder – MIG/TIG for our Fraser, MI shop. The ideal candidate will weld precision sheet metal components, read blueprints, and ensure high-quality workmanship on every part.

The role is contract-to-hire, with 1st or 2nd shift available. Safety, clean work area, and teamwork are essential as production deadlines approach. Pay is based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of MIG and TIG welding experience, preferably in a sheet metal environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
• Experience with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal components according to blueprints and job specifications.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and conformance to standards.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
