Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification in MIG/TIG welding preferred.
• 2+ years experience welding sheet metal in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on variations of sheet metal components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and blueprints to determine welding requirements.
• Prepare materials and surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and fitting parts before welding.
• Inspect finished welds for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to specifications using appropriate measuring instruments and visual checks.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and fixtures in good working order.
• Adhere to company welding procedures, safety policies, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentations of completed work.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality inspectors, and team members to address production challenges and resolve defects.
• Operate other fabrication tools and equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
