Job summary

Midway Staffing is seeking an experienced TIG welder to join our manufacturing team in Wisconsin. You will read blueprints, set up equipment, and produce high-quality welds on sheet metal and aluminum parts.

Our ideal candidate has 2+ years TIG welding experience, an advanced welding certification or degree preferred, and strong measuring skills using calipers or micrometers. We value reliability, teamwork, and consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• Sheet metal TIG welding experience is required or preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and lay out welds.
• Knowledge of heat settings and speeds for welding quality.

Responsibilities

• Pass certification tests for welding equipment setup and operation.
• Use TIG welding to produce quality seams and tack welds.
• Read blueprints/layouts to lay out welds.
• Maintain tools and equipment; manage move tickets, scrap tickets, and stock movements.
• Contribute to upstream and downstream processes to maintain workflow.
• Perform tasks as assigned to meet production goals.
