Job summary

Based in Hebron, KY, the Thermal Spray Technician will perform essential job functions related to thermal spray coating operations under the direction of the Production Supervisor to meet customer specs. Responsibilities include verifying pre-coating steps, maintaining data records, and ensuring 100% on-time project delivery.

The role requires ITAR compliance (U.S. Citizens or green card Holders), a high school diploma or equivalent with technical certification or a two-year technical degree,

Qualifications

Must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders.
High school diploma or equivalent and a technical certification or two year degree in a technical field.
Working experience in a production environment with ability to learn thermal spray processes and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

Care for customer inventory and work safely to prevent loss or damage.
Review job folder to verify masking, cleaning, blasting and coating steps.
Record and sign off on data defined in the job folder.
Report coating problems or tooling issues to the Thermal Spray Lead.
Perform coating operations and use materials per procedures.
Maintain on-time delivery and high quality output; document data accurately.
