Qualifications

• ITAR compliance: Must satisfy ITAR requirements (U.S. citizen or green card holder).
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Experience using hand tools in a production environment (preferred).
• Skills: Demonstrated organization and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Process execution: Complete steps of the thermal spray process including masking, grit blasting, deburring, and grinding using various hand tools.
• Work order review: Verify specific areas of parts to be processed from job folders (masked, post-processed, or grit blasted).
• Quality & inspection: Perform visual inspection of parts for defects and follow in-process inspection procedures.
• Tool operation: Use various hand tools to perform processing per work instructions and job folders.
• Documentation & tracking: Record and sign off on all applicable data defined in the job folder.
• Reporting: Report problems, inaccuracies, damaged parts, or material issues to Lead or Supervisor.
• Continuous improvement: Assist supervisor in developing processes to improve operations.
• EHS compliance: Follow safety policies, wear PPE, keep area neat, dispose of waste per standards.
• Customer inventory care: Protect customer inventory from loss or damage.
• Professional conduct: Be punctual, follow directions, communicate effectively, and adhere to rules.
• General: Perform other tasks as assigned.
