What You'll Do
As a Precision Solutions Service Technician, you'll install, configure, diagnose, and support advanced precision technology across a wide range of equipment. Your work ensures customers machines operate efficiently, accurately, and reliably in the field.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing, configuring, and calibrating precision technology systems with a high level of accuracy
- Completing equipment setup according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, software, and communication issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Troubleshooting integrated systems including displays, receivers, controllers, sensors, and connectivity components
- Performing repairs, updates, and firmware/software upgrades following best practices
- Conducting detailed equipment inspections and identifying potential issues before they impact performance
- Clearly documenting inspection results, service work, and recommended solutions
- Supporting customers by explaining system functionality after installation or repair
- Maintaining accurate work orders, warranty documentation, and service records
- Communicating proactively with the Precision Solutions Service Manager on job progress and challenges
- Traveling to customer sites, trainings, and meetings as needed
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment

What You'll Bring
- Advanced mechanical, electrical, and technical aptitude
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Experience diagnosing and repairing complex equipment and integrated technology systems
- Knowledge of precision agriculture systems related to planting, spraying, harvesting, forage, and guidance technologies
- Ability to analyze system data, machine behavior, and diagnostic information
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Self‑motivation, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently
- Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously expand your expertise
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
- Prior experience in agriculture, diesel, heavy equipment, or precision technology (strongly preferred)
- Technical diploma, certification, or equivalent hands‑on experience (preferred)
