Job summary

Swiderski Equipment Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain agriculture and construction equipment. You may work in the shop or at customer locations, performing diagnostics and repairs to keep customers productive and moving.

This role requires mechanical and technical aptitude, willingness to learn, and a clean driving record. You will travel to training and meetings and must provide your own basic hand tools.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage a variety of tasks from long-term projects to daily service needs.

What You’ll Do

As a Service Technician, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain agriculture and construction equipment to keep our customers productive and running efficiently. Your work may take place in the shop or at customer locations, depending on the job.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on agriculture and construction equipment following manufacturer procedures and quality standards
• Installing, setting up, and preparing new and used equipment for customers and dealer inventory
• Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Completing repairs safely, professionally, and in a timely manner
• Documenting work performed, parts used, and labor accurately
• Providing outstanding customer service when working directly with customers
• Managing a variety of tasks, from long‑term projects to daily service needs
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Traveling to customer sites, trainings, and meetings as needed

• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license required
• Ability to travel for training and meetings, as needed
• Must provide own basic hand tools
• Prior experience in agriculture, diesel, or heavy equipment service strongly desired
• Agriculture background a plus
