If you’re mechanically inclined, like staying busy, and want to build a career working on agriculture and construction equipment, this role was built for you.

What You’ll Do

As a Construction Service Technician, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain construction equipment (skid steers, track laoders, wheel loaders, excavators) to keep our customers productive and running efficiently. Your work may take place in the shop or at customer locations, depending on the job.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on agriculture and construction equipment following manufacturer procedures and quality standards
  • Installing, setting up, and preparing new and used equipment for customers and dealer inventory
  • Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Completing repairs safely, professionally, and in a timely manner
  • Documenting work performed, parts used, and labor accurately
  • Providing outstanding customer service when working directly with customers
  • Managing a variety of tasks, from long‑term projects to daily service needs
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Traveling to customer sites, trainings, and meetings as needed
What It Takes to Succeed

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Enjoys mechanical work and solving hands‑on problems
  • Brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic to every job
  • Can stay organized and productive in a fast‑paced service environment
  • Is detail‑oriented and committed to doing quality work
  • Can balance longer‑term projects with day‑to‑day service needs
  • Is willing to work extended hours during peak seasons, including some evenings and weekends
What You’ll Bring
  • Mechanical and technical aptitude (experience preferred but not required)
  • Interest or experience in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems
  • Ability to use standard desktop computer applications
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license required
