Job summary

Swiderski Equipment Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain agriculture and construction equipment. Work may occur in the shop or on customer sites, with travel for training and meetings as needed.

You will perform diagnostics, installations, and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and ensure work is completed safely and professionally while documenting parts and labor for customers.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical and technical aptitude (experience preferred).
  • Interest or experience in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems.
  • Ability to use standard desktop computer applications.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to travel for training and meetings, as needed.
  • Must provide own basic hand tools.
  • Prior experience in agriculture, diesel, or heavy equipment service strongly desired.
  • Agriculture background a plus.

What You’ll Do

As a Service Technician, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain agriculture and construction equipment to keep our customers productive and running efficiently. Your work may take place in the shop or at customer locations, depending on the job.

  • Performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on agriculture and construction equipment following manufacturer procedures and quality standards
  • Installing, setting up, and preparing new and used equipment for customers and dealer inventory
  • Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Completing repairs safely, professionally, and in a timely manner
  • Documenting work performed, parts used, and labor accurately
  • Providing outstanding customer service when working directly with customers
  • Managing a variety of tasks, from long-term projects to daily service needs
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Traveling to customer sites, trainings, and meetings as needed
